What happens in a hypnotherapy session?
After contact there will be an initial complementary consultation usually by phone to find out what you hope to achieve and to take some details about the issue. This provides an opportunity to plan an individual treatment plan. Length of treatment depends on the issue but can be from 2-6 sessions.
During the session, some time will be spent in discussion and therapeutic activity, followed by leading you into a deeply relaxed state, with some suggestions to reinforce what you would like to achieve. You are then gradually brought out of a trance like state. Most people will feel relaxed and refreshed.
