Cherie Darley – NAMMT Rm

Cherie lives and works in the Hambleton area of North Yorkshire, and runs her own business; ‘Hambleton Remedial Massage Therapy’.  Cherie is a fully qualified Remedial Massage therapist and is a registered member of NAMMT (National Association of Massage and Manipulative Therapists) and can be found on their website.

Having benefited from Remedial Massage herself, Cherie retrained to give others the same opportunity to regain better health without medication.  Cherie joined the highly respected Northern Institute of Massage in Bury and gained her Diploma in Remedial Massage in 2017.  Since studying Anatomy, Physiology and Pathology for massage therapists at NIM she has continued to develop her skills to use dry cupping therapy, kinesio taping , muscle energy techniques and rehabilitation exercises.

Cherie uses an initial assessment, followed by a personal treatment plan to treat the condition or problem area. Follow-up treatments are reviewed and personalised to create the best treatment for each individual client.

As a Remedial Massage therapist, Cherie uses a wide range of massage techniques to target tight or contracted muscles, helping to aid recovery.  Remedial Massage can promote circulation to the muscle, fascia or joint, aiding in pain management as it helps to reduce inflammation, nerve compression and also assists in lymphatic drainage.

Cherie treats a wide range of issues including long term chronic conditions such as arthritis and stress, and also offers pre and post event sports massage.

Cherie believes in natural health and well-being, and uses a hands-on approach to help her clients regain strength, flexibility and mobility.

Treatment Schedule and Fees

Remedial massage is available at The Wellness Centre every Tuesday afternoon, from 1.30pm to 5.30pm.

First assessment and treatment (to include a personal treatment plan) approx one hour 15 mins to one hour 30 mins:  £55.00

Additional treatment sessions (reviewing progress) approx one hour:  £45.00

Pre or post event sports massage (one hour):  £45.00

Therapeutic seated neck and shoulder massage, with full back massage (one hour):  £45.00
